I think that you label anything or anyone that calls homosexuality wrong as a "hater."Mantronikkhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15941353160305950608noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1759526510829765601.post-73703342013043996562011-12-13T11:29:55.351-08:002011-12-13T11:29:55.351-08:00A religion is no excuse for hate speech. If the bible said that the left-handed were inherently evil you could not marginalize the lefties in school either.fozziebare13https://www.blogger.com/profile/11805369849971944426noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1759526510829765601.post-73355531211916786952011-10-01T03:20:38.501-07:002011-10-01T03:20:38.501-07:00The glbt community has the exact same rights that ...The glbt community has the exact same rights that I do. If your referring to the redefinition of marriage, how come the gay community never uses the phrase, "redefine marriage"? I believe that the teacher is a homofascist not only for his rabid reaction to the truth spoken by the Christian student, but also because of the two-men-kissing photograph that the teacher put on the wall of his classroom. He had to know that the pic would be offensive to some, if not most of his students, and he did it anyway. That was in-your-face disrespect.
If a Christian teacher had put up a Ten Commandments poster in his classroom, there would have been swift action taken against him.Mantronikkhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15941353160305950608noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1759526510829765601.post-5216248684877759422011-09-30T15:43:35.846-07:002011-09-30T15:43:35.846-07:00I don't necessarily disagree with your conclus...I don't necessarily disagree with your conclusion about the teacher forcing his views. And I have no problems with the student expressing his opinion based on his religion.

To me this seems to be an example of the teacher taking his views too far and over reacting.

Is the lgbt community becoming more prevalent in our culture? Of course. Especially since they are no seeking equal rights. The teacher heard the comment and reacted with fear. "this student is being a hate monger because his views conflict with my beliefs and the beliefs of many others" type thing.

I can even agree with the suspension of the teacher. His over reaction caused an increase amount of conflict within that school.

However I cannot in good conscience agree that the teacher is either homofascist or anti-christian. Like I said, it seems to me to have been an overreaction to a statement that he took out of context.Simmyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02048354217377216487noreply@blogger.com
