"...the risk of HIV infection from sexual contact for MSM was approximately 150 times greater than the heterosexual male population in 2010."
Despite scientific, medically proved data, there are still people that want to tell children, without the consent of their parents, that entering the glbt community is okay.

Two things: One, what is the risk of female to female transmission? From my information, I found only 5 reported cases: (http://www.aidsmap.com/Female-to-female-sexual-transmission/page/1323529/). So wouldn't that mean that it would be okay to tell girls that its okay to be lesbian, since their risk would be SIGNIFICANTLY lower than that of heterosexual girls?
ReplyDeleteSecond, studies have found that having "gaysensitive" sex education actually lowers risky behavior for gay youth. (http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC1446472/)
"GLB youths in schools with gay-sensitive instruction reported fewer sexual partners, less recent sex, and less substance use before last sex than did GLB youths in other schools (P < .05)"
The risk of the transmission of AIDS between two lesbians is very low, however, lesbian activity is still an immoral act like safe sex between consenting, adult, siblings.
Delete"Gaysensitive" sex education is 90% of a front for the glbt community to tell kids, behind the backs of their parents, that it is okay to become a PART OF the glbt community. This violates the civil rights of a great majority of parents. And those who support the practice of approaching children, behind the backs of their parents, about sexual matters, are cut from the same cloth as those who think that sex with children is okay.
