Christian pastors headed to jail?

If somebody had told me, 25 years ago, that homosexuality would become so popular that the definition of marriage would be changed, I would have told them that they were crazy. Now, homofascists are telling me that, if the definition of marriage is changed, Christians won't be prosecuted by the law. I'm not buying that concept. My info is here.

  1. The author is a clever guy, deceitful to his American readers, but clever.

The first half of the article scares readers of what COULD happen in 10-20 years down the line in GREAT BRITAIN. That's right, the UK! A completely different country without our First Amendment of the Constitution and precedent for the separation of church and state. He then mentions the POTENTIAL dangers that same sex marriage could pose to good Christians in that country.

He then transitions to a bill about a completely different subject, hate crime legislation, that's happening in this country, implying that innocent US clergy will be thrown in jail for peacefully practicing their beliefs where somehow going to be considered a criminal act under this new legislation.

  2. But a One-World government is coming, so this developement is relevant.

  3. A one-world government? Are you serious? I almost fell off my chair laughing when I read that. That idea alone might win the prize for most ridiculous thing I've read on your blog, the idea that we should write our own laws to compensate for the remote possibility of that happening is beyond any rational thought. Even if there was a one-world government one day in the DISTANT future (no way THIS is happening in 10-20..or 40-50 years). You really think that said government would base its new world order off of an interpretation of a 2010 British law?

  4. See 13 March 2010 post for comments on that. Any defense of your "One-World government" theory?

  5. Yes. What Europe embraces could very well come to the United States. You disagree? Fine.

  6. No, I understand WHAT you're saying could happen one day. I was more interested in what is leading you to the conclusion, including why the model for a single continent with thousands of years of political and economic ties would get extrapolated to the entire world, why a superpower like the US would want to share a government with destitute countries in Africa, and why Iran would not only decide to recognize Israel's right to exist, but want to share a government with it, and who the geopolitical experts are that back this theory.

  7. Why are your answers always so wordy and complicated? Can't you stay on one subject at a time? I'm speaking of biblical prophecy that reveals the coming persecution of Christians. I know that you don't believe in Jesus Christ, so I don't tell you about scriptural truths.

  8. Verbose answers are often necessary to express nuanced ideas. I’m only concerned with conveying my arguments, not simplifying the sentence structure for you. While it may seem like I was jumping around, my above comment was actually just a list of example of issues I was taking with your one world government hypothesis. Yes, there were many. I didn’t realize this was a Bible thing though. Your right, if you’re only response is that it says so in the Bible, I’d rather save that tangent for another blog.

  9. Sounds like you're going to find out about the laws of God the hard way, but, that's your choice.
