The harmfulness of same-sex "parenting." (updated 15 Aug. 2012)

Along with a lot of very obvious facts of life, a person has to reject common-sense to justify bringing children into a homosexual household. Just not having a sister made it difficult, in my younger years, to understand the unspoken cues that women send to men.

Today, I've stumbled upon a well-written article written by a man who was raised in a lesbian household.

“…Between 1973 and 1990, …I was the only child who experienced childhood without my father being around.

…I was the only child who experienced life under “gay parenting” as that term is understood today.

…Quite simply, growing up with gay parents was very difficult, and not because of prejudice from neighbors.

…Inside, however, I was confused. When your home life is so drastically different from everyone around you, in a fundamental way striking at basic physical relations, you grow up weird. I have no mental health disorders or biological conditions. I just grew up in a house so unusual that I was destined to exist as a social outcast.
My peers learned all the unwritten rules of decorum and body language in their homes; they understood what was appropriate to say in certain settings and what wasn’t…

I had no male figure at all to follow, and my mother and her partner were both unlike traditional fathers or traditional mothers. As a result, I had very few recognizable social cues to offer potential male or female friends, …
My home life was not traditional nor conventional. I suffered because of it, in ways that are difficult for sociologists to index. Both nervous and yet blunt, I would later seem strange even in the eyes of gay and bisexual adults who had little patience for someone like me. I was just as odd to them as I was to straight people.

…I have trouble in professional settings because co-workers find me bizarre.
It was not until I was twenty-eight that I suddenly found myself in a relationship with a woman, …I don’t feel like dealing with gay activists skewering me the way they go on search-and-destroy missions against ex-gays, “closet cases,” or “homocons.”

Though I have a biography particularly relevant to gay issues, the first person who contacted me to thank me for sharing my perspective on LGBT issues was Mark Regnerus,…

Regnerus’s study identified 248 adult children of parents who had same-sex romantic relationships. Offered a chance to provide frank responses with the hindsight of adulthood, they gave reports unfavorable to the gay marriage equality agenda. Yet the results are backed up by an important thing in life called common sense: Growing up different from other people is difficult and the difficulties raise the risk that children will develop maladjustments or self-medicate with alcohol and other dangerous behaviors. Each of those 248 is a human story, no doubt with many complexities.

…The gay movement is doing everything it can to make sure that nobody hears them. But I care more about the stories than the numbers (especially as an English professor), and Regnerus stumbled unwittingly on a narrative treasure chest.

…I don’t mince words when talking about how hard it was to grow up in a gay household. Earlier studies examined children still living with their gay parents, so the kids were not at liberty to speak, governed as all children are by filial piety, guilt, and fear of losing their allowances. For trying to speak honestly, I’ve been squelched, literally, for decades.

…threaten the core of the LGBT parenting narrative—we do have a choice to live as gay or straight, and we do have to decide the gender configuration of the household in which our children will grow up.

…Once I was a father, I put aside my own homosexual past and vowed never to divorce my wife or take up with another person, male or female, before I died. I chose that commitment in order to protect my children from dealing with harmful drama, even as they grow up to be adults.

Sherkat’s assessment of Regnerus’s work shows a total disregard for the emotional and sexual labor that bisexual parents contribute to their children.

…The turbulence documented in Mark Regnerus’s study is a testament to how hard that is.

I cleaned out enough apartments of men who’d died of AIDS to understand that resistance to sexual temptation is central to any kind of humane society. Sex … leaves us vulnerable and more likely to cling to people who don’t love us, mourn those who leave us, and not know how to escape those who need us but whom we don’t love. The left understands none of that. That’s why I am conservative.
I thank Mark Regnerus. Far from being “bullshit,” his work is affirming to me, because it acknowledges what the gay activist movement has sought laboriously to erase, or at least ignore.

…The children of same-sex couples have a tough road ahead of them—I know, because I have been there."

How Jesus can repair a homosexual's heart.

Only about one in twenty people that do not know who Jesus Christ is, can figure out that a person cannot be born homosexual.

“…In short, he argued that the same Christ that redeems sinners also helps them to "change" -- i.e., to put aside those things the Bible defines as sin. Burnett's response was astonishing at one level and not surprising at another. It's no surprise that she would be in favor of gay marriage. It is astonishing, however, that she would be so overtly dismissive of basic Christian morality -- as if it were completely outside the bounds of rational discourse.

…Christ not only saves sinners from the penalty of sin but also from power of sin (Romans 6:14). That means that genuine Christianity inevitably results in a changed life on the part of the one who trusts in Christ. From the moment of conversion, the Spirit of God progressively transforms Christians into the image of Jesus Christ (Romans 8:29; 2 Corinthians 3:18). Without this kind of holiness, no one will see the Lord (Hebrews 12:14). To reject God's purpose of holiness is to reject Christianity altogether (1 Thessalonians 4:7-8).

What the Bible teaches on this matter is not aimed only at gay people. It goes for all sinners, gay or straight. Every person who receives Christ and believes the gospel must change. They cannot remain the sinner that they were without calling into question the validity of their conversion. As one preacher put it, "If the faith that saved you didn't change you, then it didn't save you."

This does not mean that sinners become perfect all at once. … The work of sanctification is a progressive work that extends over the course of one's life. There are stops and starts, triumphs and failures along the way. But it is nevertheless the mark of a Christian that he is working out his salvation with fear and trembling, knowing that it is God who is at work in him both to act and to will according to God's good pleasure (Philippians 2:12-13). For many gay people who come to Christ, it may be a life-long struggle. But the Bible teaches that they will have what they need for the fight (2 Peter 1:3) and that they are not bound by this sin any longer (Romans 6:6).

What Burnett dismisses as "crazy" and "hateful" is at the heart of the Christian faith. To deny that the Gospel can change sinners -- even homosexual ones -- is to deny Christianity altogether. That is why Mohler's answer was profoundly and biblically right. He didn't give any ground on this issue, and neither should any Christian who wishes to give a defense of the hope that is in him (1 Peter 3:15). It is neither crazy nor hateful to suggest that gays can change. It's the essence of love that God enables them to do so. …”

Don't use the word "Dad" ?!?!?

Talk about bigotry and intolerance! A gay couple objects to the word "dad" in a guide for raising children, and ALL references to fathers and fatherhood are removed from that guide!?!

WOW!!! This is yet another example of the denial that is the cornerstone of the gay community. To deny that it takes a male and a female to create a child is insane. Yet this type of behavior is supported by those who fear being labeled "homophobic."

Is this not insanity? How is this NOT crazy? After God created Adam and Eve, it takes a male and a female to create a human life on this planet, yet some in the glbt community want this fact silenced. And I'm called a "bigot" for walking away from this? I'm "intolerant," or "homophobic," for my heteroseparatism?

I don't associate with people who deny the truth about gender differences.

Yet another man in the women's room.

<---This is a man.

Since when is it unreasonable for a woman to not want to be in the same bathroom with someone who has a penis? How is this a bad thing? WHO thinks that it is wrong for a woman/female to object to using the restroom/bathroom in close proximity to a male? Apparently, there are some crazy people in this world who can’t understand this.

How can some people understand how a man/male could want to have a sexual, romantic relationship with another man, yet not understand how a woman/female would not want to be in a restroom/bathroom with an adult male?

“... “Someone saw me using the women’s public restrooms and complained,” said Braly. ...The university had offered to turn more gender-specific bathrooms into gender-neutral bathrooms. Braly filed the complaint anyway. ...”

Powerful testimony of an ex-gay man.

What a perfect video I have found to kick off the summer of 2012 with!

Not only do I finally have the time to sit down and blog, I’ve found a video by an ex-homosexual that covers the saving power of Jesus Christ, a miracle performed by God’s Holy Spirit, the two most common origins of homosexuality, and the gross promiscuity of the homosexual lifestyle.

At 0:50, Mr. David Arthur speaks of his seduction into the glbt community. At 6:08 he speaks of the ONLY permanent cure for homosexuality. And at 8:45, he reveals a miracle of God’s Holy Spirit.

“...He carried me through the storm and made it possible for me to tell you my own story so that I have a part in crushing everything that satan has told you and led you to believe. You have accepted complete sin as a "way of life" or a "lifestyle." And I am here to let you know that there is no "way of life" or "lifestyle" called homosexuality, or transgenderism, or prostitution, or sexual promiscuity and there is no tolerance for living that sin when in your heart you KNOW it is wrong. You KNOW that those feelings you are having are not right. You KNOW that because that is the truth. Please know that I am not telling you this to humiliate you nor am I trying to degrade you. I am doing my best to SHOW YOU the Truth.

...Did I have sexual encounters when I was a child with males older than me ? Yes I did. Was I molested ? I guess I was but I sure never refused or wanted to stop. In fact, I desired the attention as much as I could possibly get it. I was very young when I first had a homosexual experience and I was 37 years old when I had my last.

...You were not BORN that way and it is NOT okay to be that way. It is NOT okay for you to have those feelings and whoever told you that is a worker of iniquity, which means that person deviated you from what is right and true.

...From the moment I was conceived I was on a rough road. I wasn't three months in my mother's womb when my father committed suicide, and that moment changed everything in my life. I grew up in a house full of women, my two older brothers were never around so I was always with my mother, sister or female cousins. And my only two friends were girls to. I never had a father figure in my life and I may have longed for that. Is that what caused me to like the sexual advances from other boys and men ?

... It is our choices that lead us astray. We CHOOSE sin.

...Not only did I have feminine mannerisms about me but I looked very feminine also, actually I passed for a young girl very easily on more than one occasion. Once I figured this out and realized I could receive even more attention and physical encounters, I used it to my advantage very quickly. By the age of 11 or 12 I was cutting school and heading to the local mall where I would put on a little bit of make-up that I stole. I had a few very short lived relationships with other males who actually thought I was a young girl. I performed as many sexual acts for them, and with them, as I could without going all the way to keep them from finding out my "secret". When it got to the point where they wanted to take it "all the way", I just simply stopped seeing them and vanished from their lives.

...I quickly found the downtown section called Center City, where all of the homosexuals hung out. I saw how open they were about it and it was okay there. I was taken under their wings almost immediately and was part of something.

...It wasn't long before I was running away from home, staying out all night, dressing up like a woman, drinking, doing more drugs, taking female hormone shots and pills, prostituting myself on the streets all night long, sleeping in parks, motels and eventually getting arrested for numerous things.

...I had engaged in sexual activities with well over a thousand men and I had the inclination that I may be HIV+ as were so many of my friends and past lovers.

...other boys wanted to use for their own enjoyment, and I was okay with that. In my mind that contact was attention, which was affection, which meant they were showing me love, some type of love. At least that is what I would tell myself and convince myself of. Well, my experiences at Job Corps came to an abrupt end when I was called into the nurses office to be told that I was, in fact, HIV+.

...I was diagnosed with full blown AIDS while in prison and I thought I would die in prison.

...The last time I was in prison there was an officer, I forget his name, but we called him "Bishop". He was a Christian and he let you know it to. I used to talk with him from time to time and I remember him telling me that WHEN I became saved my testimony would help so many people on so many different levels and walks of life.

...That was around the time I would argue with people that God MADE me gay and I was living the life that He wanted me to live.

...with no hormone shots or pills will definitely do that. My breasts had almost gone away and so did the wideness of my hips, and I became David again.

...I wanted God in my life but I also believed that I was MEANT to be homosexual.

...I found myself having the desire to read and to listen to the Bible. Once I accepted homosexuality as an addiction, an illness, then it was much easier to actually see the sin in it. I learned more about God and then I had come under conviction of His Law. It was God's Law that put me under conviction and caused me to repent of my sins and believe on Jesus Christ. I opened my heart & soul to Him in October of 2009. I also found my father's family. I had a brother & sister who never knew I existed and a few aunts and cousins also.

...I started telling others of what God has done in my life in such a short period of time, and what He can do in theirs also.

...The quality of my life has changed tremendously and I have been able to see much more clearly what is right and what is not.

...Do you know what it means to be given up to a reprobate mind ? A reprobate mind is a mind that has become so ingrained in evil that it is not able to stop – even in its own best interest.

...it DOES get easier as time goes by. I have no desire to experience those pleasures of sin any more, I have much pleasure and joy being a man of God, knowing that I Belong, Amen. ...”

The narcissism in the glbt community.

This video, by Dr. Sam Vaknin, hit my radar today, and I was stunned at some of the points he made that reveal the inner workings of the glbt mind. At 0:01:00, 0:03:02, and especially 0:05:30, Dr Vaknin reveals key points about what motivates the homosexual and “transsexual” mindset. Oh my God this guy has given my some powerful ammo in my fight against homofascism.

Denying the reality of gender.

99.999999% of human beings are born either male or female. But there are those who want people to ignore this overwhelming fact. There are those who war against, "gender stereotypes."

I've noticed this predisposition in the glbt community; anyone who points out the differences between male and female will be attacked.

The parents of this boy hid the fact that he was a boy for the first five years of his life. Why? To avoid any "gender stereotypes."

I see a bisexual in the making.

"... Of (this) case, Dr Harold Koplewicz, a U.S. child psychiatrist, said he was ‘disturbed’ that well-meaning parents could be so misguided.

‘When children are born, they’re not a blank slate,’ he said. ‘We do have male brains and female brains. There’s a reason why boys do more rough and tumble play; there’s a reason why girls have better language development skills.’ ..."

"Neuralgay": The neural connections of homosexuality.

Well, here it is. Yet more evidence to support my observations that homosexuality is all in the mind.

<----This 26 year old rugby player, (you can’t get more masculine that that!) attempted a flip, landed wrong, broke his neck, and had a stroke. When he woke up in the hospital, he “felt different,” and, when he recovered, he became a member of the glbt community. To sum it up...he was fully straight, then he suffered severe brain damage, and now he’s a homosexual.

This is what I’ve been saying all along; there is something wrong with a man who is not sexually attracted to women.

I saw this on a skit on In Living Color (theme song by Heavy D, may he rest in peace) where one of a pair of homosexuals was hit on the head and turned straight and his boyfriend was eventually able to hit him in the jaw and turn him gay again. Now life imitates art/comedy, and I have to update my manifesto.

“...Mr. Birch’s astonishing change saw him break up with his fiancée, ditch his job in a bank to retrain as a hairdresser and lose eight stone in weight.

Mr. Birch recalled: ‘I was gay when I woke up and I still am. It sounds strange but when I came round I immediately felt different.

‘I wasn’t interested in women any more. I was definitely gay. I had never been attracted to a man before – I’d never even had any gay friends.

But he said: ‘Suddenly, I hated everything about my old life. I didn’t get on with my friends, I hated sport and found my job boring. ...”

The glbt and feminist war on masculinity.

There is a definite link between women who are uncomfortable with strong independent men, and how a boy develops into a homosexual.

When a boy is born to a woman who is full of anger towards men, in many instances, the woman removes the boy's father from his life, and raises the boy in an environment where masculinity is constantly denigrated. This creates an environment from which effeminate homosexuals develop.

Before I was married, if a woman I was dating copped an attitude when I opened a door for her, or if she forbade her son from playing with toy guns, I quietly faded from that woman's life. Having worked with arch-feminists for eight years, I developed effective tactics to deal with feminist contempt.

“...What it says is that my worry that Ms. Lyons might be expressing her own discomfort with masculinity and projecting it onto her son—and mine, and yours—seems to have been justified.

It says that Lyons does seem to have been promulgating her perspectives on gender roles having no value.

It says that she was, indeed, apparently using J. Crew—a brand so many of our kids gravitate toward—as her launching pad for a mini-campaign to change the way our kids think about their bodies and their gender identities.

See, I don’t think it’s so terrible that boys are different than girls. I think it’s just fine, in fact, that a central supporting beam of the architecture of most boys’ senses of self is that they look like boys and act like boys and feel like boys. I don’t think that’s pathological. But I think that Jenna Lyons—and maybe J. Crew—would disagree with me. ...”

Transphobia?

Dr. Keith Ablow, a psychiatrist, apparently has a deep understanding of gender identity disorder. Concerning Chaz Bono's obvious case he writes...

“...It would be wrong to think that gender dysphoria cannot be kindled by celebrating those who have undergone sexual reassignment surgery. Human beings do model one another—in terms of emotion, thought and behavior. By broadcasting, applauding and mainstreaming the journey of a very disordered person who endured, and likely will continue to endure, real suffering based on extraordinarily deep psychological problems, we suggest that that journey is a smart—even heroic—one to take.

But Chaz Bono should not be applauded for asserting she is a man (and goes about trying to look like one) any more than a woman who believes she will be happier without arms, has them removed and then continues to assert that she was right all along—her self-concept was that of a double amputee. Now, all is well.

I’m going to take heat for saying all this, by the way. I already have for making similar statements in the past. So be it. I would rather be the one shouting “The Emperor has no clothes!” than one of the happy-go-lucky villagers applauding the tragic parade....”

Lisa Miller's return from the glbt community.

Well this book just about covers all of my arguments; how a person becomes gay, the eight divisions of the lesbian community explained in my manifesto, and how some in the glbt community wish to eliminate the parental rights of those who don't support their sexual activities.

"...Have you ever wondered... "What can I do to help those involved in homosexuality?" "How extensive is the culture war over marriage and family?" "What are they exposing our children to in schools?" Or, perhaps... "Why should I even care?" This book answers those questions and more! Only One Mommy exposes the truth about the homosexual rights movement and its destructive consequences. Written from the vantage point of Lisa Miller's seven-year custody battle for her biological child against her former same-sex partner, Only One Mommy offers a first-hand account of how people are lured into believing that they are born "gay" and cannot change. As a result of that belief, they make life choices that have devastating consequences for our children, families, and freedoms.

"Rena Lindevaldsen is a leading legal expert in the battle to defend traditional family and marriage. Written from the front lines of the cultural battle, Only One Mommy offers a rare glimpse into a woman's personal struggle with same-sex attractions and the seven-year legal struggle to keep custody of her biological daughter...."

Y.A.H.I. (YAW-he)

<---These people want to redefine marriage, but the glbt community won't support them. Wait...hold on a minute. Waaa? Weren't the polygamists the first social group that wanted to redefine marriage in the United States of America? Is this yet another homofascist inconsistency? A "yahi"?

"...Pro-family activists have long warned that redefining marriage to include two men or two women would inevitably lead to legalized polygamy, with polygamists employing the “equality” and “consensual” rhetoric of the gay rights movement. However, gay rights commentators immediately distanced themselves from the polygamists’ suit, with one prominent commentator calling it “a political gift to anti-gay groups nationwide.”..."

Savaging marriage.

Marriage was founded by God himself in the Garden of Eden. It is to be between one man and one woman, and the married couple are not to have sexual relations with anyone except each other. Sex outside of marriage will lead to great emotional pain at the very least.

This is heart-wrenching to me. Dan Savage is laughing his way into the wrath of God. Mr. Savage won't be laughing when he's standing before Jesus Christ. This is a prime example of how the acceptance of same-sex "marriage" will adveresely affect true marriage; those who accept same-sex "marriage," will accept adultry. And it is still adultry if your spouse consents to you having sex with another person.

God clearly tells us to honor marriage.

The gay-friendly skies above San Francisco.

Apparently, in San Francisco’s International Airport, you can board and fly US Airways in your underwear...but ONLY if you have a gay
<----appearance. If you are NOT gay, you will be held to a higher standard.

Apparently, US Airways is more afraid of being called “homophobic” than being called racist. Yet another difference between race and sexual behavior. Sick, sad story here.

Sex "change" regret.

Well. This one's kind of predictable to those with sexual sanity...

This man, Walt Heyer, thought he wanted to be a woman, had his dingus surgically removed, then realized that he made a terrible mistake. He is now in love with and married to a woman, and trying to prevent other, pre-op, male-to-female "transgenders," from making the same mistake that he did.

Walt Heyer writes...

"... Changing genders is zany, exciting and fun at first, but many of us have discovered right away or years after changing genders that our lives turn to disappointment, sorrow and regret. The evidence of this extreme regret can be found in the staggering suicide rate for transgenders, reported to be 30 to 40%.

I am back to living as a male and I am happily married to a woman. But anatomically I'm not a male; I can't be. My birth record was changed and says female. My passport says male. This surgery is absolutely destructive. In fact, it is categorically impossible to change someone's gender.

There are a lot of males without male genitalia who are struggling terribly with this. And at least fifty percent of these surgeries are failures in some way. Your body is mutilated. It's not a good thing. It's a horrible thing.

Homosexuals, lesbians and transgenders were not born that way, no, not at all. Despite an enormous amount of research being done, no scientific evidence can be found to substantiate this view, yet it is reported as fact. My new book, Paper Genders, provides a well-researched look in the homosexual activist movement and how everyone, including the media, runs and hides from this group of bullies and sexual predators.

The question is: Who has the courage and conviction to stand up for our young kids and our families? ..."

In my internet manifesto, I cover how childhood experiences launch a person into the glbt community. Mr. Walt Heyer's experience in the glbt community supports the information in my manifesto. Then there's his news concerning the shocking statistic that a "transgendered" person is 25 times more likely to attempt suicide than a heterosexual.

My supporting data is here, and here.

"Gender Spectrum" in your rectum.

Under the cloak of anti-bullying (which can be taught without violating the civil rights of Christian parents and glorifying homosexuality), these children were exposed to anti-hetero propaganda, WITHOUT the consent of their parents. This is what the vast majority of the glbt community wants. Teaching children that gender is a "spectrum."

More gender denial.

Well. Here it is again. People denying the obvious differences between the human male and the human female. American culture is taking yet another step away from sexual sanity and teaching children that they are the gender that they think they are, regardless of what's between their legs.

Where do I buy stock in a company that provides materials and curriculum for homeschooling because, when more people find out about what's being taught to their kids, homeschooling is going to explode.

"Genderealist"

Just like I constructed the word "heteroseparatist" to free those who embrace sexual normalcy from being marginalized, I created the word "genderealist" to counteract the derisive term "heterosexist." (How crazy are human beings going to become in my lifetime?!)

A couple in Canada are refusing to tell anyone the gender of their child. Wow. Okay.

Now, these people have every right to withhold this information from people, and I'm not disputing their parental rights to do so, but why would they do this? Is this the kind of World that gays, feminists, and liberals want? Is ignoring gender the tie that binds the gays and the feminists? What's next? Will I be thrown in jail for saying "Miss" or "Sir" in the future? Am I going to live the life of Harrison Bergeron?

Story here and here.
