"Don't Say Gay" in Tennessee schools.

This is Tennessee Senator Stacey Campfield who is proposing a bill to protect schoolchildren in his state from anti-hetero propaganda. Senator Campfield believes that a child's parents should choose how to talk to their children about the glbt lifestyle and, of course, he's receiving hate mail from homofascists.

"...Campfield said his bill aims to stop gay-rights activists from pushing their agenda in the classroom. He cited children's programming that taught homosexuality and said "several" teachers have informed him that they're already teaching the material. .."

"...But Campfield said his bill won't prevent educators from addressing bullying and that families should ultimately decide when their kids should receive sex education. .."

More info on this heroic heteroactivist here.

  1. I know! We should only allow single celibate teachers in our classrooms, otherwise our innocent youth may be indoctrinated into the ways of (gasp!) sex. No pregnant women! No uncastrated men! Eunuchs only! We MUST protect the children!

  2. A child's parents should choose how to talk about their children about the glbt community. Anti-bullying classes can be taught without glorifying the gay lifestyle like they do now. People are catching on to how the glbt community wants to bypass the rights of parents who don't support the homosexual lifestyle. A parent has the right to supervise their child's education.

  3. Exactly. And I don't want my children being taught about heteronormalization before the age of 14. Therefore, no mention of heterosexuality of any kind should be allowed in schools. No wedding bands. No pictures of teachers' spouses or girlfriends or boyfriends or children. No mention of their impending nuptials, regardless of whether it is a same-sex or opposite-sex wedding. I am TOTAL agreement with you. NO SEX IN SCHOOL.

  4. 1. 99.9999% of all human beings come from the sexual union of a man and a woman (that should be married), so to want that fact ignored in what should be called “reproductive” education, is absurd. But... you have the right to be absurd.

    2. So you would want to be notified if your child was being taught heteronormative lessons?

"99.9999% of all human beings come from the sexual union of a man and a woman."

And 99.9999% of all homosexuals come from the sexual union of a man and a woman. This is an abomination. I WILL NOT STAND for my children to be taught how homosexuals come into existance! NO SEX IN SCHOOL!

  6. It's clear by the design of our bodies that no one is "born gay." SSA is something that develops. It is not genetic.

  7. Now you're just trying to confuse us, your loyal readers, Mantronikk! First you argue that no sexuality at all should be mentioned in schools. Then sexuality is okay, but only sex between married couples. Then you say 99.9999% of human beings come from sex between a man and a woman -- but only from married men and women (which I would hazard a guess is actually quite inaccurate).

But just out of curiosity, where does that last .0001% of humankind come from (which is, after all, over 600,000 people)?

  8. Didn't you see,"...(that should be married)...? How is it you are so oblivious to what I'm actually saying and what you want me to say? How can you not understand that I meant that a man and a woman having a child should be married to each other?

If I said that 100% of people come from the sexual union of a man and a woman, someone would've brought up invitro insemination. How long have you been on Earth Emma?

  9. Sure I saw (that should be married). It's yet another reason you're so funny. How long have you been on Earth Mantronikk?

  10. Once again you're not making any sense. If you just want to heckle, stop reading my blog.

  11. You know, as I've said before, you are a bully. This is evidenced by the fact that you can dish out rude behavior (for example, "How long have you been on Earth?"), but you can't take it. This is a classic, classic symptom of bullying behavior.

I like reading your blog. You are so far out of the mainstream that it gives me yet more hope for decency and equality. I wish everyone read your blog. You make us pro gay rights folks look so normal, so sane, you practically fight our fights for us. Thanks!

  12. I go out of my way to denounce violence against gays, but that's not enough for you. You are so desperate to fit me into the mold of a homophobe, it obviously angers you when you realize that you can’t honestly call me a homophobe. Then you call me a bully? What violence have I done? What violence have I preached? Are not my posts linked to the supporting evidence that inspired them? Do you envy my originality? Are you angry at the hard evidence that I collect to defend myself with? I’m not angry at you for disagreeing with me, so why are you angry at me for walking away from the glbt community? You have the right to be pro-gay. I have the right to be pro-hetero.

I asked how long that you've been on Earth because I am desperately trying to understand your thought process. I can't find the reasoning behind your false accusations. You accuse me of something, I provide evidence to prove you wrong, and you move on to the next false accusation. What do you want from me? If you can't point out factual inaccuracies in my posts, aren't you no better than a heckler? Tell me where I'm factually wrong or take your childish harassment elsewhere.

  13. How is it "childish harassment" to point out that you are rude and bullying? When I was a kid I would act out sometimes and my parents would put me in my place -- never did I accuse them of "childish harassment." Where have I called you a homophobe? You seem very defensive, which of course makes sense. You should be! As that great poet Bob Dylan wrote, "The times, they are a changin'." :)

  14. And yes, it must be that I desperately envy your originality and creatively crystalline force of thought. Also your willingness to throw around creepy rhetoric such as referring to gay rights supporters as homofascists and to oneself as a "heteroseparatist." Also your strange preoccupation with the goings-on of gay people, which leads one to speculate both about your own orientation and your unending desire for peering so avidly into the sex lives of others. PS I have been on this earth long enough to know a bully when I see one (or in this case read one) :)

  15. How can I be "rude and bullying" to someone who has every right to leave? If you think that I am, then go. Have a nice life.

I never accused you of calling me a homophobe. I'm saying that you come at me as if you think I am one. But, yet again, you hear what you want to hear instead of what I'm actually saying.

Point out where my facts are wrong or leave.

  16. Oh dear, have you gotten riled? I didn't say your facts were wrong. I just think YOU are wrong, with your fascist this and your fascist that. Your words give you away.

    ReplyDelete
  17. Since you admit that you can't refute my facts, it's obvious that you just want to heckle. You must be very bored today.

From this moment on, none of your comments will be posted UNLESS you are refuting the facts of my posts.

"Man" Quoting from World Net Daily & the Traditional Values Coalition supports only how much of the Kool-Aid you have been drinking, and casts serious doubts on what you deem "evidence" and irrefutable proof that you "arm yourself with". Please. If this is your idea of evidence, you might just as well quote the bible and call it "proof" because "it is in the bible". Your "facts" are FANTASY. You have NO legitimate evidence at all. Keep trying, but quote something a little more reputable than right-wing evangelical web sites. How about getting your facts from a legit. scientific organisation/association? Oh, I forgot.....that's not in the bible.
